Recently our church leaders asked us to make and write down our goals for the New Year, stating "We are given two gifts in this life; time and the freedom to choose what we do with that time." Years ago while we were living in Spain we came across a perfect (kid friendly) goal sheet in our church's magazine called 'The Friend'. I thought it was so perfect that I pulled it out and made several copies for each year up until 2013, which at the time seemed so far away! Each year we have fun taking out our past goals, assessing what we've accomplished and what we plan to roll over into the next year. The best part is you never really know what is going on in the head of a 6, 7, or 9 year old until you give them a paper and pencil and ask them to write down their goals.
