If you’re going to be traveling this summer and are looking for an alternative method with the high gas prices, you may want to consider going by train. Amtrak is turning 40 this year and to celebrate they’re letting kids ride FREE whenever you book a trip between April 25th through May 6th, 2011. In order to get the FREE ticket you must travel bewteen May 1st--June 9th, 2011.
Just head on over HERE and click on the “Book It Now” link in order to receive the discount and to reserve your tickets. The fare discount will be automatically applied to qualifying travel when a selected train is added to the cart.
