Half the fun of Christmas is looking forward to it! A tradition we have is centered around an advent calendar that has boxes they open and inside we place a little Christmas treat (usually chocolate related) and a note with a fun activity for the family to do together. When they come home from school is when we have them open it. They practically run through the door in anticipation. If your little ones are home with you all day you could just set a time each day that works best for your family. So far we have; made Christmas cards, decorated Christmas trees in our rooms, attended the Christmas Parade, baked cookies, written letters to Santa, colored pictures for Grandparents, Santa train ride, shopped for the cousin's gifts, and today we're making snow globes! The best part about this Christmas Tradition is that I'm able to feel organized knowing that we're getting everything we need to get done in preparation for the Big Day with a few extras to build great memories along the way. Only 12 More Days!
