It was just last week that my son was complaining about a fresh itchy bug bite on his arm. I used the ol' Alaskan way of getting rid of the itch by telling him to make an X with his fingernail right on the bite and then put a little saliva on it. I don't know if it really works. I think it does take your mind off the itch though.
Yesterday I received my own bug bite and man oh man did it itch! After making a X and spitting, it still itched a bit. I was wishing for something more...
And today I found it! Target sells their Benadryl Itch Relief Sticks for $2.29. There is a $2 off any Benadryl product in RP 6/19 insert! That makes them a mere $0.29!
My daughter is off to camp this week...I think it might come in handy!
