Great Country Farms is a family owned and operated, 200-acre working farm situated at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains outside the village of Bluemont, VA. Pumpkins are only $.59/lb and the farm market offers apples, fresh cider, slushies and fall produce and decor items!
Great Country Farms grows tons of pumpkins and has lots of friendly animals who love visitors. Come meet Elmer, the pot belly pig (who happened to escape the last time we were there and we had to rescue him), and his barnyard friends including cows, chickens, pigs, an emu, rheas, guinea fowl, geese, ducks, miniature horses, sheep and goats - all waiting to be fed with the free cup of feed that your kids get with their ticket. There's also a corn maze, a rope maze, a tractor maze, a giant jumping pillow, hayrides, and more. Great Country Farms is a jam-packed afternoon of fun, exploration, and family time!
