Tip of the Day: Don't Let Your Foot Fall Asleep

Here's my VERY IMPORTANT tip of the day:

Don't let your foot fall asleep and then try to walk on it. I did that yesterday afternoon and after falling to the ground and hearing a snap, crackle, and pop ended up in the ER. Walking on crutches for the next two weeks (let's hope that's all) as a SAHM to a 1, 3, and 5 year old is not going to be easy! What was I thinking? Wish me luck. My regular blogging will resume in a day or two. Right now I'm becoming reacquainted with my DVR.

Tip of the Day: Bubble Wrap to the Rescue

Did you know that you can use bubble wrap to save fruit and vegetables from bumps and bruises? Just cut a piece to fit into the bottom of the refrigerator drawer as a pillow for your produce. Say goodbye to squished squashes or mushy mangoes and hello to tasty unblemished fruit!

Tip of the Day: Compare Unit Price NOT Ticketed Price

When you shop make sure that you compare unit price rather than ticketed price. This is especially helpful for items that contain a number of the same product in the same package--like daipers.

Tip of the Day: Watch Out For Those Eye Level Items

This is a new feature that I'm thinking about incorporating into the blog.
I'll try it for a while and see how it goes.

Did you know that when you're at the grocery store the most expensive products are usually placed at eye level? Cheaper brands of the same type of product are usually found on the top or the bottom shelves. Check it out the next time you shop.
