Every year we take our family to Great Country Farms in Bluemont, Virginia. The first year we went for Glow Night. Glow Night rocks! They turn off all the lights and the entire farm is illuminated with a gazillion jack-o-lanterns. OK, it's not really a gazillion, but there are a lot of happy smiling pumpkins glowing back at you.

Then we discovered their Pumpkin Chunkin' Week and the boys fell in love. They get to take their jack-o-lanterns and demolish them in a bunch of different ways. They can feed them to the dinosaur, watch them soar down a zip line and crash into a pole, or watch what happens when a pumpkin is dropped from the top of a cherry picker. My boys actually call cherry picker trucks pumpkin droppers now. They just love it. There are a lot of other fun things for the kids to do.
